My entrance into the flower world came as my mother and I began to plan my eldest sister's wedding. Being the little sister, I wanted to impress my sister with lush, beautiful flowers for her wedding day. All the female relatives rolled up their sleeves to contribute to the flower arranging. Surrounded by loved ones, coffee, beautiful arrangements, and a huge flower mess, my passion was born!
My most cherished floral memory unfolds in the vibrant embrace of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. A beloved tradition, my mother would whisk my sister and me to the muddy flower fields, our yearly snapshot amidst a sea of blooms. With the wind as our dance partner and mud clinging to our shoes, we ventured back to our trusty astro van, only to discover it stuck in the soupy parking lot.
